Hey there! Glad I found this. Been oil pulling since this past summer (thanks to Jadey Brady :)) and haven’t turned back. When she brought it to my attention, I did my research and was pleased with my findings. Having a jar of coconut oil always on deck, that became my oil of choice. Here is my routine:
    – clean my tongue with a tongue scraper
    – floss as an initial attempt to remove food particles (would like to remove this step but still not convinced the “pulling” is getting all the gunk)
    – oil pull for 20 mins or so
    – rinse with a homemade mouthwash (water, pink sea salt, myrrh oil)
    – brush (I’ve stop using commercial toothepaste)
    – glide my tongue my clean teeth and mouth with a big smile 🙂

Results: My mouth/teeth feel just as clean as before with some other noted niceties. The inside of my mouth feels moisturized; didn’t realize how drying the commercial toothepastes could be. My lips are even reaping the benefits. My gums appear to be loving this (along with the myrrh oil in my homemade mouthwash). Breath is fresh without the use of harsh chemicals. All in all, great results.

This is so awesome. I oil pulled this morning during my shower and I’ve started dry brushing every now and then too! Gah… the mercury, wish I could get it all removed safely. Thanks for the advice about where to spit lol
