Ready To Stop Dieting?

Hey girl hey,

It’s been a wild 2022 already, so I hope you and your family are in good health and in spirits.

Over here at Raw Girl Coaching, my clients have had some amazing healing breakthroughs, and certain conversations seem to be a recurring theme. Some of these concerns are things I myself have struggled with. So I want to share with you some of those thoughts over the next couple of weeks.

The past four years of seeing clients one on one, there have been many women who are struggling to release the spirit of “Dieting.” I’m calling it a spirit, because Chile, sometimes I feel like a pastor in a church service trying to help women get delivered from the vicious cycle dieting can cause.

When I say dieting I’m referring to jumping on random health fads often, short or long term caloric restriction, or using extreme means to achieve a health goal in a short period of time.  Not only does dieting harm your metabolism and sometimes negatively affect your emotional stability, it generally leads to the opposite of what you want. For instance caloric restriction slows your metabolism down and when you go back to your normal way of eating, you will gain the weight back and then some.

Just last week in my virtual office, a woman who has been dieting her entire life took my advice to increase her caloric intake to meet her level of activity and eat in a way that was suited for her body type. At her last appointment, I could tell she’d been delivered. She was shocked at the amount of weight that left her effortlessly, AND she was feeling better than ever.

My goal with every client is to help them land on a lifestyle that works for their body type, any health conditions, and health goals, while also allowing them to achieve metabolic efficiency. If you are someone who is constantly trying to find a quick fix and jumping from fad to fad, I hope you’ll consider doing the deeper work of landing on a way of eating that works for your body.

Please let me know by sending an email to rawgirltoxicworld@gmail.com if you are committed to releasing the idea of “dieting” in any form, and what your plan is to create a sustainable healthy lifestyle.

Blessings,

Esosa
